Vancouver Water Ski Club

I have been a member of the Vancouver Water Ski Club since I was a young child. The club survives on members volunteering in many different ways to keep everything running smoothly. Once I got into design school I decided one of the ways I could help the most would be with design. Ever since, I’ve been designing shirts for kids camps, posters for events, merch for members to show their club pride, and logos for events related to the club. I created a logo for the Covert Wake Jam - a yearly, but sometimes bi-yearly wakeboard competition held by the club, as well as the West Coast Wake Series, a series of competitions held around BC and organized by some of the VWSC members. Along with these events came chances for me to use my skills to keep costs low for the club while making the event extra fun - designing and hand-printing 50+ towels for event giveaways, or laser cutting wooden plaques to give away to winners instead of medals.
